Domingo Ruiz Jr. carries forward his family’s legacy of selflessness and dedication, choosing paths with conviction and purpose. From his vibrant upbringing in Louisiana and Texas to his impressive academic achievements, Domingo’s journey is a testament to perseverance, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence.

His academic career began in broadcasting for radio & television with an associate degree in paralegal applied science from the National Paralegal College in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by a bachelor’s in government studies. These early academic milestones ignited his passion for advocacy and justice, laying the foundation for a career focused on helping others.

Domingo’s commitment to serving and uplifting others has only deepened with time. His educational journey continued with two master’s degrees in psychology—one with a concentration in health psychology and another in alternative dispute resolution for mediation—from Touro University Worldwide in Los Alamitos, California. He also earned a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a focus on Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling. Each academic achievement brings him closer to his ultimate goal: one day earning a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M to make a profound impact on the lives of those he serves.

Domingo’s dedication to assisting families and individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges stems from personal experience. Having witnessed and participated in efforts to foster hope and healing in the aftermath of natural disasters and health crises, he has developed a deep sense of empathy. His 25 years of mentorship in numerous churches, as well as his early involvement as a child advocate in Harris County and Montgomery county, Texas, have provided him with a unique insight into human suffering and the strength of the human spirit.

Over the past 11 years, Domingo has made a significant impact as a mentor and child advocate, particularly within the judicial system and church communities. His ability to connect with individuals, offering guidance, direction, and hope, reflects his altruism and unwavering commitment to the well-being of others.

Domingo’s mission is to inspire others to give back to their communities, support those facing similar challenges, and provide families with the life-changing assistance they need, both in visible and unseen struggles. His passion lies in helping people navigate their emotions and find healing in a world often filled with chaos and noise.

As he continues his pursuit of a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, Domingo remains steadfast in his dedication to motivating and supporting others. His expertise, compassion, and relentless drive will leave a lasting imprint on the mental health community and the lives of those he touches.
