I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Erica Cleveland, MA, LPC-S. I grew up in Texas, but I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana Tech University in 2018. With a concentration in Equine Science and a minor in Psychology, I was hopeful in navigating a way to merge helping people and partnering with horses. Now, after completing my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, I can finally serve all of the populations I have encountered to my fullest potential.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults, helping them navigate challenges related to mental health, personal growth, and overall well-being. Functioning from a trauma-informed lens, I provide an understanding that our bodies store a vast amount of information and communicate in ways we may not always recognize. By utilizing creative connections to the world around us, I seek to help clients find an anchor that fosters integration between the mind and body, promoting deeper healing and self-awareness.
In addition to my clinical work, I facilitate equine-assisted services at a local non-profit, partnering with the therapeutic power of horses to support emotional well-being. In this setting, I have been actively facilitating transitional community and residential groups for veterans and other equine-assisted services to adjudicated youth, youth in foster care, and people with disabilities.
I aim to create a safe, supportive space where individuals can explore personal challenges and work toward meaningful change.
In my free time, I love doing anything creative whether it be art, music, or crocheting. I love visiting small coffee shops everywhere I go, spending time with family, and hanging out with all the horses at my other job.
